Broxtowe Borough Council last night voted to grant planning permission for a new Tesco store in Beeston. The vote went 6-4 in favour of Tesco, with both the Lib-Dems and Conservatives being split on the issue (only 1 Labour Councillor turned up and he voted in favour of the scheme).
